A minimalist landscape for a modern home: calm lawn panels, basalt rock gardens, modular orchard & herb beds, and soft night lighting.

The Novorizhsky Residence sits on a 13-sotok plot (≈1,300 m²). The architecture is clean and restrained, so the landscape follows suit: long lawn panels for quiet views, narrow ribbon beds with cool-toned plantings, and a basalt gravel field punctuated by dark boulders. Circulation is simple—stepping pavers guide movement, while service paths are discreetly screened with evergreen blocks.
Night ambiance is created by recessed wall washes at the entrance, low bollards along paths, and soft under-bench LEDs. A modular kitchen-herb garden and compact orchard deliver seasonal produce without clutter. The entire scope was designed, permitted, and delivered on an accelerated schedule from May to July 2024.
We prioritized calm composition and easy maintenance: large shapes, few materials, and reliable, cold-hardy species. Paving is kept to stepping plates and crusher fines for permeability, while drainage falls to hidden swales. Plant palettes favor silvers, whites, and greens with seasonal lilac accents—echoing the home’s minimalist palette and evening facade lighting.
